2 Huge Upcoming Tournaments

by Matt Reed

Fall has officially arrived, and before you know it we’ll be in full holiday season mode… which means plenty of opportunities to spend time with family and friends, great food and most importantly… pickleball?!

That’s right! As the weather starts to get colder outside, Montclair Pickleball is turning up the heat on the competition with two incredible tournaments that will bring out the best talent in the Garden State (and beyond)!

For the first time ever, we’re hosting the New Jersey Senior Open from November 1-3, which will feature the best players aged 50 and over. The tournament will be hosted at our amazing Bergen County location in Fair Lawn and include two age brackets - 50 to 64 and 65+ - with men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles categories all available for players from 3.0 to 4.5+.

There are currently over 70 players signed up for this historic event, and we cannot wait to make it a memorable one!

And then… the marquee pickleball event of the winter will take place in December (13-15) when the Northeast Winter Open descends upon Randolph Pickleball Center.

The tournament is open to all men’s and women’s players from 2.5 to 4.5+ in the doubles, mixed and singles divisions, so make sure to get yourself and all your friends out on the courts.

This summer, we hosted the New Jersey State Open which had nearly 700 incredible players from around the Tri-State area compete in Randolph, and we expect another awesome group this December.

The event will also include over $3,000 in prize money for gold and silver medalists in the 4.5+ categories.

We’re beyond excited to have so many incredible players competing on our courts this winter, so come on out and test yourself and have some fun with Montclair Pickleball!
